Core Responsibilities Duties Return Data preparation Compile and submit accurate statutory returns GSTR1 GSTR3B and Annual Returns within prescribed deadlines Reconciliation Match purchase and sales ledgers against GSTR2B and 2A to maximize Input Tax Credit ITC and resolve discrepancies Billing Logistics Generate Einvoices and Eway bills seamlessly using accounting software Compliance Audits Maintain robust documentation and assist both internal and statutory auditors Department Liaison Handle departmental queries assessments and draft responses to GST notices Key Qualifications Skills Education Bachelors degree in Commerce Accounting or Finance professional certifications like CA or CS are a major plus Software Advanced proficiency in Tally ERP or SAP and Microsoft Excel Knowledge Deep uptodate understanding of CGST SGST and IGST laws 1 2 4
