Position: Sr. Engineer - Purchase
Location : SamayPur Badli
Experience: 4 years-8 years
Key Responsibilities
✅ Procurement & Sourcing
- Identify, evaluate, and select suppliers for electronic components, mechanical parts, packaging, and other materials.
- Obtain quotations, compare prices, specifications, and delivery terms to negotiate best deals.
✅ Order Management
- Prepare purchase orders and release them to suppliers.
- Follow up to ensure timely delivery of materials.
- Track open orders and expedite as needed to avoid production delays.
✅ Supplier Management
- Maintain strong relationships with suppliers & vendors.
- Monitor supplier performance on quality, cost, and delivery parameters.
- Coordinate with suppliers for returns or replacement in case of non-conformance.
✅ Inventory & Coordination
- Coordinate with stores, production, and planning teams to maintain optimal inventory levels.
- Work with quality team for incoming material inspection and ensure compliance with quality standards.
✅ Documentation & Compliance
- Maintain accurate records of purchases, pricing, and other important data.
- Ensure procurement activities comply with company policies and standards.
Key Skills & Competencies
- Good knowledge of electronic components & mechanical parts (PCBs, resistors, capacitors, ICs, cables, etc.).
- Strong negotiation & communication skills.
- Proficient in MS Office (Excel, Word) and ERP systems (SAP / Oracle / local ERP).
- Understanding of ISO / QMS documentation and processes is a plus.
Qualifications & Experience
- Graduate / Diploma in Electronics / Electrical / Mechanical Engineering or related field.
- 4-8 years of experience in purchase / procurement in an electronics manufacturing company.
- Familiarity with import procedures & customs (for imported components) is an advantage.
