Job Accountabilities
Preparation and review of plot plan, equipment layout, piping layout drawings, etc.
Preparation and review of piping material specifications, valves specifications, general engineering specifications, etc.
Preparation and review of engineering design basis, scope of work, 3D Model Review
Preparation and review of stress design basis, stress calculations, supports
Interdisciplinary checks and co-ordination
Preparation and review of MTO and utilizing of surplus materials.
EOI evaluation and preparation of vendor list
Preparation and review of Stock Code, SAP code, budget estimate, PR, TBE, TR, vendor document review, expediting, etc
Reviewing of engineering documents prepared by the DEC, package vendors
Construction support, resolution of construction queries, field engineering and closure of audit points.
Preparation of construction SOW, BOQ, Man-hours estimation.
Skill & Competencies
Knowledge of relevant ASME, ASTM, API, OISD codes and standards
Clear understanding of PFDs, P&IDs, process requirements, statutory requirements, plant safety requirements, operation and maintenance needs, constructability aspects, etc.
Knowledge of design requirements of pulsating lines, acoustic induced vibrating lines, etc.
Knowledge of SAP system for preparation of PRs, code generation, etc
Education Required
B.E / B.Tech Mechanical or Chemical Engineering
Experience Required
Minimum of 6 - 10 years of experience of project execution, detailed design in oil, gas and /or petrochemical industry
Hands on experience in preparation of conceptual plot plan, equipment layout, MTO, budget estimate, ect.
Hands on experience in preparation of SOW and deliverable list for DEC, construction SOW, BOQ, etc
Hands on experience in review and approval of engineering deliverables generated by the DEC, vendor documents, model reviews, etc.
Experience in interdisciplinary checks and co-ordination
Experience in expediting and control of PR, PO delivery, shortfall and surplus, material substitution, etc.
Experience in field engineering, support to construction and O&M
