Role & responsibilities
The Position Is Accountable For:
The employee is responsible for managing Quality activities during shift operations in the plant that include ensuring implementation of Food safety, GMP, quality control, leadership of product quality in the plant, supporting execution of NPD, roll out of group policies and related activities while leading team of subordinates.
- Lead and manage Quality Assurance by ensuring adherence to company, national and international standards with regards to food safety ,hygiene, GMP,HACCP and product quality.
Thorough knowledge of ISO, FSSC and Legal metrology standards.
- Basic knowledge of SAP and its feature. Person should at least able to leverage the usage of SAP . Knowledge of advanced excel for data analysis & preparation.
- Implementing and maintaining all quality systems as per the guidelines of PVMI. Ensuring compliance to quality standards by establishing and enforcing company's policies and guidelines via trainings. Handling crisis as a part of Crisis Management procedure. Manage, quality issues and new product updates. Communicate status and risks to management
- Ensure and maintain safe and clean work environment by hands on approach, educating partners and directing personnel (if any) on the use of all control points, equipment, and resources; ensuring compliance with established policies and procedures. Sound knowledge of KPI tracking and improvement areas.
- Measure partner performance, support & lead continuous improvement program with hands on experience with SPC, Process capability and Minitab. Implement new projects, determine manufacturing requirements.
- Carry out internal audits as per ISO 9001 & FSSC 22000. Conduct PRP audits & ensure non-conformances are managed.
- Maintain workflow by monitoring steps of the process; setting processing variables; observing control points and equipment; monitoring personnel and resources; studying methods; implementing cost reductions; developing reporting procedures and systems; facilitating corrections to malfunctions within process control points.
- Conduction of reconciliation of FG, RM & PM, budgeting, cost calculation, wastage derivation etc
- Lead meetings to ensure that PVMI requirements are well understood and implemented at the production floor. Attend POS and Quality review meetings.
- Non Conformance Management: Monitor and review RM/ PM/ FG quality checks at the unit & report nob-conformances. Oversee root cause analysis and offer suggestions on possible solutions; Analyse and identify trends in customer/ market complaints; Monitor quality indices MIS

Qualifications / Certifications
Essential
Graduation & above in Food Technology, Dairy Technology, MSc, BSc
Desirable
Microbiology, Chemistry.
Knowledge
Essential
Excellent Practical Skills for Quality Management System, should be conversant (hands on experience compulsory) with the latest Standards of ISO , FSSC and FSSAI
Desirable
Knowledge of Plant and latest technologies used for Food Processing, knowledge of advance excel, Power BI
Experience
Essential 5 years to 8 Years of work experience
