Network-Security SME will be a key member of the Data Center Engineering team , wh o would be focusing on technology to ensure smooth operation of Network -Security service s across the organization. He would also be supporting on various new technology evaluation . The Network -Security SME will serve as a core member of Network technology team, responsible for adopting new technologies , working primarily on various regular tasks and projects related, to ensure 100% availability of security services .
Responsibilities
- Serve as a S ubject M atter E xpert for data center deployed security solutions.
- Contribute to d rive the evaluation and adoption of emerging technologies in the domain of data center network in support of cloud computing initiatives .
- To support operation, ensuring availability , implementation & putting design recommendations time to time, support next gen eration hardw are and software infrastructure.
- Ensuring T echnical documentation in a timely manner for all changes .
- Provide Level 2/3 support and troubleshooting to resolve issues
- Collaborate with other IT personnel for problem resolution .
Desired Skills And Experience
- Extensive administrative & hands-on experience in security administration in datacenter technology space .
- Hands-on experience deploying large enterprise security solutions like firewalls, proxy, NIPS, DDoS, 2FA, WIPS etc.
- Technology OEM support must for Cisco, PaloAlto , Forepoint , Fortinet, Checkpoint, F5.
- Relevant experience on Software Defined Network particularly NSX .
- In-depth knowledge of diagnosing and resolving performance issues .
- Broad datacenter understanding and experience across disciplines, including.
- Network Switching Technologies across Arista, Cisco, Juniper
- Cloud technologies understanding like VMWare, Azure, GCP, Dockers, Kubernetes
- Data protection and business continuity
- Excellent analytical, problem solving, verbal and written communication skills .
- Strong presentation skills including the ability to conduct architecture and design meetings with partners.
- Must be obsessed for his work to achieve best of the best.
