Sr. Engineer

Key Responsibilities:

1. Project Planning and Coordination:

• Collaborate with project managers to develop detailed execution plans for all civil works.
• Coordinate with design and engineering teams to align construction activities with project specifications.
• Assist in procurement by providing technical inputs for civil materials, services, and subcontractors.

2. Construction Supervision:

• Oversee site preparation, foundation works, structural erections, and all civil aspects of solar project construction.
• Conduct regular site visits to monitor progress and enforce adherence to safety and quality standards.
• Identify and resolve technical or on-site construction issues to prevent project delays.

3. Quality Assurance and Compliance:

• Implement and monitor quality control systems to ensure work meets design, standards, and statutory norms.
• Conduct routine audits and inspections, raising NCRs and implementing corrective actions where needed.
• Ensure civil works comply with local codes, environmental guidelines, and permitting requirements.

4. Team Leadership and Development:

• Supervise and coordinate the activities of subcontractors, site engineers, and construction teams.
• Promote a culture of safety, accountability, and continuous learning.
• Conduct on-site technical training and toolbox talks as necessary.

5. Documentation and Reporting:

• Maintain comprehensive records including DPRs (Daily Progress Reports), inspection logs, and as-built drawings.
• Report project milestones, construction challenges, delays, and risk mitigation strategies to project leadership.
• Support in the preparation of civil documentation for commissioning and project handover.
