What You'll Do
We are looking for a highly motivated Hardware Engineer with proven expertise in hardware design, testing, and validation. The role demands strong collaboration skills, a results-driven mindset, and the ability to quickly adapt to new tools, techniques, and processes throughout the product development cycle.As part of a dynamic hardware engineering team, you will contribute to the design and delivery of a diverse range of products, from low-volume bespoke solutions to high-volume production designs. The ideal candidate will bring a balanced mix of experience in both analogue and digital hardware design, ensuring robust and innovative solutions that meet project objectives.
The Candidate In This Position Will Be Responsible To
- Design and develop new products in compliance with required standards and customer-specific requirements.
- Capture, define, and manage design requirements throughout the development lifecycle.
- Lead/ support verification and validation activities for new product designs.
- Apply best practices in Design to Cost, Design for Manufacture, and Design for Test to ensure efficiency and quality.
- Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, including Firmware, Software, and Mechanical engineering, ensuring clear communication and alignment across stakeholders.
- Identify potential risks early and implement robust mitigation strategies
- Good understanding on Product Certification Standards (IEC/UL)
- Foster a collaborative, high-performance team culture that drives innovation and results.
- A background in Design for Six Sigma methodologies would be highly advantageous.
Qualifications
- Education - B.E/B.Tech in any one of Electrical/Electronics/Instrumentation Engineering
- Experience - 5 to 7 years
Skills
- Board-level design and development for complex electronic systems
- Strong foundation in analogue and digital electronics
- End-to-end hardware design lifecycle management
- Skilled in component selection for performance, reliability, and cost optimisation
- Proficient in testing, debugging, and troubleshooting hardware designs
- Experience in microcontroller-based design and embedded systems
- High-speed design experience is considered a strong advantage
