Sr. Engineer - DVA

Scope of Role-

The DVA Engineer is responsible for Dimensional Variation Analysis and Tolerance stack up for ongoing and new projects.

Knowledge / Experience: 2+ Years

Area of Responsibility:

.DVA Engineer creates and maintains analysis models representing the assembly process, tolerances, and CAD data used for the virtual assembly of a vehicle.

.He will be responsible for creating reports, communicating results, issues, and recommendations to the customer.

Job Requirements:

.Should have experience in Body Components /Interior Trims/Exterior Trims Domains

.Should have good working knowledge of GD&T & Tolerance Stack up Analysis

.Should have good knowledge of GD&T Standard preferred ASME

.Should have knowledge of 1D, 2D stack up & 3D dimensional variation analysis

.Hannd on experience on Catia V5/Teamcenter Vis Mockup

.Hand on Experience in variation analysissoftware VisVSA,

.Basic understanding of Kinematics

.Basic understanding of CAD and Design for Manufacturing Knowledge of jigs & fixtures used in Body Area preferred

Essential:

.Must have experience in Dimensional Variation analysis domain with VISVSA

.Experience in using CATIA V 5/V6, Team Centre Engineering (TCE)

.Working knowledge of GD&T & Tolerance Stack up Analysis

.Successful history of delivery with in the automotive sector

.Engineering knowledge of defined component(s) / system(s) design, function, performance, production & manufacturing requirements.

.Excellent communications skills, ability to communicate at all levels

.PC Literacy: Microsoft Project, Power Point, Excel, Word etc.

Qualification:BE/B. Tech in Mechanical/Production/ Automotive Engineering
