This Position is responsible for executing sub-projects for Diesel fuel injection systems within larger (Diesel System) customer projects, ensuring they are completed on time, and within budget & need to collaborate with the Project Manager and other stakeholders to develop project plans, track progress, identify and manage risks to ensure project deliverables are met.
1. Theoretical Study/definition of system layouts, features
2. Testing and calibration of common rail system (hydraulic) on test bench, Engine and vehicle
3. Compilation of test results and report preparation, Documentation as per Project Management procedures & standard protocols. Work package definition for projects, assessment of different products with respect to overall system behavior.
4.Calibration on engine/vehicle at customer end. Project specific work packages for customer/platform projects
5.Co-ordination with product and project groups for system development related activities related to team development, training and competency

Mechanical / Automobile/ Mechatronics - related branches
1) Good knowledge of automotive fuel injection systems.
2) Good knowledge on engines and understanding of Diesel exhaust treatment systems
3) Good knowledge on Common Rail testing and related interfaces/tools
4) General knowledge of Quality Systems and Tools like FMEA etc
5) Ability to understand basic vehicle layout, requirements and to make suitable modification to conduct basic system tasks and specific/related measurements
6) Ability to evaluate and report the measurement data requested.
7) Good communication skills
8) Aptitude for detailed technical tasks
9) Analytical reasoning ability
Desirable:
- Good knowledge in Diesel engine or Diesel Fuel Injection systems
- Able to work independently and suggest optimized solutions
- Understanding of Emission norms and relevant exhaust system strategies
- Machine learning knowledge is added advantage
- Digital adaptation mindset
- Travel for calibration & testing to customer locations and extreme weather environments.
