Perform day-to-day data centre operations, including rack/stack, de-rack, and equipment installation.
Monitor and maintain power, cooling, UPS, DG sets, and environmental systems.
Handle remote hands & eyes support for internal teams and customers.
Ensure 99.9%+ uptime through proactive monitoring and preventive maintenance.
Install, configure, and troubleshoot rack servers, blade servers, storage, and network devices.
Perform hardware diagnostics, component replacement (HDD, RAM, PSU, NIC), and vendor coordination.
Support LAN/WAN devices, patching, labeling, and structured cabling (Cat6 / fiber).
Use monitoring tools to track temperature, humidity, power load, and alarms.
Respond to incidents, alerts, and outages, perform RCA, and implement corrective actions.
Maintain incident, change, and problem management processes (ITIL-aligned).
Ensure compliance with ISO 27001, SOC, PCI-DSS (as applicable).
Maintain asset inventory, rack diagrams, cable maps, SOPs, and MOPs.
Support audits and customer walkthroughs.
Follow data centre safety procedures and ESD standards.
Enforce access control, visitor management, and security protocols.
Strong understanding of data centre infrastructure (power, cooling, racks).
Hands-on experience with servers (Dell / HPE / Lenovo).
Basic to intermediate knowledge of networking (TCP/IP, VLANs, switches).
Experience with structured cabling and fiber optics.
Familiarity with DCIM or monitoring tools (preferred).
Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work in 247 shift environments.
Clear documentation and communication skills.
Customer-facing experience is a plus.
Diploma / B.E. / B.Tech in Electrical, Electronics, Computer Science, or IT.
Certifications (preferred but not mandatory):
Data Centre Infrastructure (CDCP / CDCS)
ITIL Foundation
CompTIA Server+ / Network+
37 years of experience in data centre operations or infrastructure support.
Experience working in Tier III / Tier IV data centres is an advantage.

247 shift rotation (including nights, weekends, holidays)
On-call support during critical incidents
