This role is designed forexperienced electrical design professionalswho have worked onlarge, ground-mounted solar PV projectsand can independently handledetailed engineering deliverablesacross the project lifecycle.
This Role Is NOT Suitable If- You are afresher, graduate trainee, or early-career engineer
- Your experience isprimarily site execution, commissioning, or O&M, without deep design ownership
- You have workedonly on rooftop, residential, or small C&I projects
- You do not haveend-to-end electrical design exposurefor utility-scale plants
- You are unable to workfull-time from our Ahmedabad office
Mandatory Experience & Skill Requirements68 years of hands-on experienceinelectrical design of utility-scale solar PV plants(typically 50 MW and above)
Strong command over:
- DC & AC system design
- Inverter sizing & selection
- SLDs, protection philosophy, and system losses
- MV/HV interface considerations
Proven experience preparingdetailed engineering drawings, calculations, and technical documentation
Proficiency inAutoCADandExcel-based engineering calculations
Working knowledge ofIS / IEC / IEEE standardsand grid compliance requirements
Ability to work withminimal supervisionand takefull ownership of assigned packages
Bachelor's / Master's degree in Electrical Engineering
Key ResponsibilitiesLeaddetailed electrical designforground-mounted utility-scale solar PV plants
Develop and review:
- DC & AC SLDs
- Equipment sizing calculations
- Protection schemes and system layouts
- Prepareclient-ready drawings, BoQs, and technical submissions
- Coordinate closely withcivil, structural, and internal engineering teamsto ensure design consistency
- Support internal reviews, value engineering, and constructability discussions
- Maintain high standards ofengineering quality, documentation, and version control
