As a Senior Executive Director of Technology at JPMorgan Chase, you will lead the Private Bank Mortgage Transformation strategy from India, collaborating with global technology, product, and business partners. Your technical expertise will be crucial in automating end-to-end business processes for the Mortgage Origination process, focusing on enhancing the client digital journey and process improvement through the latest technology stack, AI/LLM, and more. You will ensure the firm remains at the forefront of industry trends, best practices, and technological advances. This is a rare opportunityto participate in creating the future of our Private Bank. With the sponsorship from the CEO and the headsof the business,the goal is to create an Agentic Private Bank with Mortgageasthe first pilot business area for this vision- reimagining the entire process from start to finish, rethinking the operating modelincluding organizational structuresand developing AI agents equipped with the latest tools and technologies to fundamentally reshape how weperform this business.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Leads the Private Bank Mortgage Transformation initiative, leveraging the latest market trends, technologies, and AI/LLM wherever possible.
  • Oversees the development and implementation of a suite of applications for both internal bank users and external clients.
  • Provides architectural leadership and expertise in public and private cloud environments.
  • Manages large technology teams, ensuring effective team performance and development.
  • Engages and manage global stakeholders from business, technology, and product sectors, driving consensus and strategic execution for large-scale projects in the financial domain, with a preference for Mortgage/Lending knowledge.
  • Partners with external vendors and various technology teams within the Private Bank to achieve strategic objectives.

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills

  • Formal training or certification on software engineering concepts and 10+ years applied experience. In addition, 5+ year of experience leading technologists to manage, anticipate and solve complex technical items within your domain of expertise and more broadly across the organization
  • Experience in managing large teams and organizations, with a track record of successful leadership in complex, matrixed environments.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage and influence global stakeholders and execute strategies for large-scale projects.
  • Experience, understanding and hands-on experience with Generative AI and Large Language Models (LLM).
  • Experience and understanding of service-oriented architecture, domain-driven design, micro front end and responsive UI development. Proficiency in Java and React.js, with practical experience in development and implementation.
  • Ability to partner effectively with external vendors and internal technology teams.
  • Java, Spring Boot, and Service-Oriented Architecture (SOA) with domain-driven design.
  • UI, written in React.js, adhering to ADA compliance and excellent UX guidelines, utilizing micro-frontend and responsive design principles
