Job Title: Senior Platform DevOps & Site Reliability Engineer
Location: Bangalore, India
Employment Type: Full-time

About the Role
We are seeking a talented and experienced Senior Platform DevOps & Site Reliability Engineer
to join our Strategic Technology Group (STG) in Bangalore. STG is a core part of our
technology organisation, supporting three main solution lines: Pricing, Capital, and Life. This
role will primarily focus on supporting the Life solution line, with a particular emphasis on the
PathWise platform-a strategic solution delivered to our global clients either as a hosted cloud
service or deployed on-premises. You'll be part of a high-impact team enabling the reliable,
scalable, and secure delivery of PathWise, working closely with global colleagues, as well as
consultants and business development teams.

Key Responsibilities
DevOps & Platform Engineering
. Design, deploy, and manage scalable inf rastructure on Azure and AWS using Terraf orm,
PowerShell, and Inf rastructure as Code best practices.
. Maintain and support the hosting environments f or PathWise, including both cloud and on -
prem deployments.
. Work with Microsof t technologies such as IIS, SQL Server, and Windows Server to support
core services and applications.
. Implement and manage container-based solutions using Docker, Kubernetes, and AKS.
. Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines to ensure smooth and automated delivery processes.
. Collaborate with business and technical teams to ensure reliable delivery and operational
excellence across global regions.
Site Reliability Engineering (SRE)
. Implement robust monitoring, logging, and alerting systems to ensure visibility and uptime
across platforms.
. Drive a data-driven approach to system availability, performance, and incident response using
SLIs/SLOs.
. Lead and contribute to post-incident reviews, root cause analysis, and continuous
improvement processes.
. Conduct perf ormance tuning, capacity planning, and reliability enhancements to support
business-critical workloads.
. Reduce operational toil through automation and standardized runbooks.
Preferred Technical Qualifications
. Deep experience with Microsof t Azure and Amazon Web Services (AWS).

Skills and experience that will lead to success

. Deep experience with Microsof t Azure and Amazon Web Services (AWS).
. Skilled in Terraf orm, PowerShell, and scripting languages (Python, Bash, etc.).
. Experience with Microsof t enterprise tools such as IIS, SQL Server, and Windows -based
environments.
. Prof icient with Azure services like Application Gateway, App Services, Key Vault, Storage
Accounts, and related cloud components.
. Container and orchestration experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and AKS.
. Familiarity with SRE tools and practices: Azure Monitor, Prometheus, Graf ana, Datadog, ELK
Stack, SLAs, SLOs, and error budgets.
. Knowledge of networking, f irewalls, load balancers, DNS, and security best practices.


Desirable Skills
. Experience with hybrid and multi-cloud deployments.
. Exposure to GitOps practices and modern CI/CD toolchains (e.g., GitHub Actions, Azure
DevOps).
. Strong communication skills with the ability to collaborate across global teams.
. Prior experience supporting complex enterprise platf orms delivered to external clients.
. Ability to thrive in a collaborative, f ast -paced, and agile environment.
