About The Role
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Data Scientist to join our dynamic team in Bangalore, Lucknow, or Pune. As a key member of our data science division, you will be responsible for transforming complex raw data into meaningful insights that drive business decisions. Your expertise will contribute to the development of advanced machine learning models, natural language processing applications, and generative AI solutions. You will work closely with cross-functional teams including product managers, software developers, and AI specialists to design, develop, and deploy scalable data-driven solutions. This role provides an excellent opportunity for a passionate professional to influence real-world applications, optimize existing models, and explore innovative AI techniques in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
Qualifications
The ideal candidate will possess over five years of experience in data science, machine learning, or AI engineering, with a strong background in developing and deploying complex models. Proficiency in Python and its associated libraries such as Pandas, NumPy, Scikit-learn, TensorFlow, and PyTorch is essential. Candidates should have a solid understanding of statistical analysis, probability, and data modeling principles. Hands-on experience with natural language processing tools like NLTK, spaCy, and Hugging Face Transformers is required, along with familiarity with generative AI frameworks such as OpenAI APIs, LangChain, and RAG techniques. Experience working with SQL and NoSQL databases, along with cloud platforms like AWS, GCP, or Azure, is necessary. Strong communication skills are vital to effectively explain complex models to non-technical stakeholders, and experience with version control systems like Git is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and deploy machine learning models for classification, regression, clustering, recommendation systems, and other predictive tasks, ensuring high accuracy and performance.
- Conduct feature engineering, hyperparameter tuning, and model validation using industry best practices to optimize model effectiveness.
- Lead initiatives in Generative AI and NLP, working with large language models (LLMs) and frameworks such as OpenAI, Hugging Face, and LangChain to create intelligent report generators, summarizers, and Q&A bots.
- Implement NLP techniques like entity recognition, sentiment analysis, topic modeling, and semantic search to extract valuable insights from unstructured data.
- Experiment with retrieval-augmented generation (RAG), prompt engineering, and fine-tuning foundation models to enhance AI capabilities.
- Deploy models via MLOps pipelines using tools like MLflow, SageMaker, Bedrock, or Vertex AI, ensuring scalability, security, and maintainability.
- Monitor model performance in production environments, retrain models as needed, and troubleshoot issues to maintain optimal operation.
- Integrate AI models into existing systems through APIs and cloud infrastructure, collaborating with engineering teams to ensure seamless deployment.
- Stay updated with the latest advancements in AI and data science, continuously improving models and workflows to maintain technological leadership.
