Required Skills & Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related quantitative field.
5+ years of progressive experience in data engineering roles, with a strong focus on cloud-based data solutions.
3+ years of hands-on experience working extensively with Snowflake and DBT in production environments.
Exceptional proficiency in SQL, including advanced querying, performance tuning, and optimization.
Deep expertise in data warehousing concepts, including dimensional modeling, CDC (Change Data Capture), and SCDs (Slowly Changing Dimensions).
Proven experience designing, developing, and deploying scalable data pipelines and ETL/ELT processes.
Solid understanding of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and their data-related services.
Experience with workflow orchestration tools (e.g., Airflow, DBT Cloud).
Strong understanding of data governance principles, data security, and privacy best practices.
Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and critical thinking skills.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team in a fast-paced, Agile environment.
