About The Role
Location: PAN India, Fully Remote
Ruder Finn India is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Senior Data Analyst (Data Analyst III) to join its Emerging Technology & Analytics team. This role offers an exciting opportunity for professionals passionate about data, analytics, and storytelling to contribute to high-impact projects across various sectors such as consumer, technology, and healthcare. As a key member of the team, you will work closely with the Chief Technology Officer and collaborate with multiple account teams to develop insights that influence strategic decision-making. The ideal candidate will be a digital native with a deep understanding of data visualization, web analytics, social media metrics, and predictive modeling, with a focus on connecting data insights to business objectives. This position provides a platform to work on innovative projects, enhance your technical skills, and play a vital role in the agency's growth trajectory.
Qualifications
To be successful in this role, candidates should possess a strong educational background and relevant experience, including:
- Bachelor's Degree in business analytics, computer science, marketing, psychology, advertising, or related fields preferred.
- Minimum of 4 years of experience in an agency or in-house environment as a data or research analyst.
- Proficiency in writing complex Boolean queries and operating media and data analytics tools such as Cision, Brandwatch, Rival IQ, Meltwater, Signal AI, among others.
- Expertise in Excel, Google Sheets, Google Analytics, and familiarity with data visualization platforms like Tableau, Power BI, or Google Data Studio, along with SQL skills.
- Knowledge of statistical computing languages such as Python, R, or familiarity with AWS is highly desirable.
- Experience in data modeling, developing custom models, and working with large datasets.
- Experience with contemporary language models (e.g., ChatGPT, Bard) and working with large language models (LLMs) is a plus.
- Excellent problem-solving abilities, creative thinking, and strong data processing skills.
- Strong project management skills with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills in English.
Responsibilities
The Senior Data Analyst will be responsible for a variety of tasks aimed at deriving actionable insights from complex data sets and supporting strategic initiatives. Key responsibilities include:
- Collaborate with the global Emerging Technology & Analytics team on research projects related to new business opportunities and client mandates, involving sourcing, analyzing, and reporting data aligned with business objectives.
- Deliver comprehensive market and audience intelligence reports, including social and digital landscape analysis, sentiment analysis, keyword research, search performance, and competitor analysis such as share of voice and message pull-through.
- Design measurement frameworks, set up searches using Boolean queries, and develop dashboards to visualize data insights effectively.
- Create client-facing reports and presentations that translate complex data into clear, actionable insights.
- Support the development of predictive models and data-driven strategies to inform campaign planning and client recommendations.
- Stay updated on emerging analytics tools, methodologies, and industry trends to continuously enhance analytical capabilities.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure data accuracy, integrity, and compliance with privacy standards.
- Assist in training and mentoring junior team members, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and knowledge sharing.
