Sr. Counselor

Summary:

We're seeking an experienced and passionate Study Abroad Counselor to guide students through

international educational opportunities. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of

global education systems and the ability to provide comprehensive support throughout the study

abroad process.

Roles & Responsibilities:

Identify the students career goals, future prospects and potential gaps in their background information

Advise/counsel students regarding various universities, courses, admission requirements, entrance exams, scholarships in United Kingdom / Canada / Australia/ USA / Singapore and Europe

Advise students on process and procedures related to academic, personal, professional and financial requirements in order to study Abroad.

Direct Applications form filling & documentation or Partner Portal knowledge

Assist with program selection, application processes, and visa requirements

SOP / LOR / Resume basic guidance to students sample formats to be shared

Provide information on desired courses based on needs & aspirations of students

Provide telephonic counselling to the leads from all sources & invite them to walk into the office for counselling.

Use strong research skills to keep up to date with industry information relating to student visas, new courses and university updates, international education industry regulations etc. Knowledge of Visa process

Create and maintain accurate client information the company's CRM system/ Excel

Good communication and influencing skills

Comfortable doing workshops in schools & colleges whenever required

Create content and participate in marketing activities via social media to engage and build a prospective client base

Sales attitude/ Comfortable with follow ups and calling

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree required; Master's degree in International Education or related field preferred

Minimum 3 years of experience in study abroad advising or international education

Strong knowledge of global education systems and intercultural communication

Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills

Proficiency in one or more foreign languages is a plus
