Designation: Sr. Costing & Estimation Engineer

Reports to: Manager, Engineering
Education: Graduation in Mechanical Engineering / Production Engineering
Relevant Experience:
• 6 to 8 years of experience in costing and estimation for Tier II & Tier III suppliers involved in contract manufacturing or part supply to OEMs.
• Experience in mid to large-sized manufacturing industries like auto ancillaries, sheet metal products manufacturing, and contract manufacturing for OEMs.
Job Location: Pune

7.0 Responsibilities:
The Engineer - Costing and Estimation is responsible for:
• Reviewing enquiries and generating offers for RFQs received from Group companies.
• Handling RFQs with effective communication with stakeholders.
• Conducting feasibility checks through CFT reviews and providing inputs for EVA analysis to management.
• Gathering costing inputs from cross-functional teams.
• Floating RFQs to local/overseas suppliers using the local/global sourcing team.
• Performing costing and estimation based on inputs from related functions and third parties.
• Submitting offers or regret letters to group companies, escalating in case of delays.
• Maintaining an inquiry log and tracking the status of open RFQs.
• Preparing MIS reports like Quote-to-order conversion ratio, lost opportunities analysis, and Planned Vs Actual costs.
