What We're Looking For:

Controls Engineer / Sr. Controls Engineer / Automation Engineer with the following Must-Have Skills.

· In-depth knowledge of Rockwell PLC and HMI programming.

. In-depth knowledge of Siemens PLC and HMI programming.

· Experience in commissioning automotive assembly processes like BIW weld cells or general assembly lines.

· Good knowledge of PLC - Robot interface for various applications like spot-welding, arc-welding, dispensing, projection welding, material handling, etc.

Additional skills required:

· Knowledge of Industrial networks, preferably Ethernet I/P and ProfiNET.

· Knowledge of Industrial safety standards and programming of safety PLCs and Safety relays.

· Knowledge of machine vision systems of Cognex, Keyence, Matrox, etc.

. Knowledge of VFD and Servo Drives configuration and programming.

· Should be able to read Electrical/mechanical drawings and layouts.

· Good knowledge of pneumatic valves and circuits.

· Knowledge of offline robot programming (Fanuc/KUKA/ABB) is an added advantage.

· Basic Knowledge of programming skills such as XML, C#, JScript, VBA, Python, etc. is an advantage.

Your Role:

· Develop PLC and HMI programs. Test and validate PLC and HMI software for commissioning readiness.

· Develop visualisation (Weintek, Automationdirect, etc.) screens for operator assistance.

· Prepare technical and non-technical documentation as per project deliverables.

· Provide technical support to the commissioning team in NA.

· Support in standardisation and continuous improvement.

Educational Qualifications:

· Bachelor's degree or Diploma in Electrical Engineering / Electronics Engineering / Instrumentation Engineering/ Mechatronics.

Experience:

• 3-12 years experience with any system integrator or experience in commissioning and troubleshooting automation systems in automotive plants or similar industries
