About the Role

We are seeking an experienced AWS Sr. Cloud Engineer to design, implement, and optimize secure, scalable, and highly available cloud infrastructure solutions on AWS and healthcare domain solutions. The role requires deep architectural expertise, strong governance mindset, and hands-on experience in enterprise cloud environments.

Certification Requirements

Intermediate-level AWS certification (Mandatory), such as:

AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Associate / Professional

Equivalent intermediate-level certification from AWS relevant to architecture

Key Responsibilities

1. Cloud Architecture & Design

Design secure, scalable, and cost-optimized AWS architectures

Develop high-level and low-level design documents (HLD/LLD)

Define architecture standards, guardrails, and best practices

2. Infrastructure & Platform Engineering

Architect solutions using AWS services such as:

EC2, S3, RDS, VPC, EKS, Lambda, IAM, CloudFront, Route 53

Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform / CloudFormation

Design multi-account strategies using AWS Organizations

3. Security & Compliance

Implement IAM governance and least privilege models

Ensure compliance with industry security standards

Architect secure networking models (VPC, Transit Gateway, PrivateLink)

4. Cost Optimization & FinOps

Implement cost governance strategies

Optimize compute, storage, and network costs

Monitor and improve cloud cost efficiency

5. High Availability & Disaster Recovery

Design multi-AZ and multi-region architectures

Define backup and DR strategies (RPO/RTO alignment)

Ensure system resilience and fault tolerance

6. Migration & Modernization

Lead cloud migration programs (re-host, re-platform, re-architect)

Define cloud adoption roadmaps

Support application modernization initiatives

7. Stakeholder & Governance Engagement

Work with development, DevOps, security, and infrastructure teams

Present architecture decisions to leadership

Participate in architecture review boards

Technical Skills Required

Strong expertise in AWS core services

Experience with containerization (Docker, Kubernetes / EKS)

CI/CD pipeline implementation

Monitoring tools (CloudWatch, Prometheus, Grafana)

Scripting knowledge (Python / Bash)

Strong networking fundamentals

Experience with hybrid cloud architectures preferred

Soft Skills

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

Excellent documentation and presentation skills

Ability to lead design discussions

Strong stakeholder communication ability

Preferred Experience

Experience working with large enterprise workloads

Exposure to multi-cloud strategy (nice to have)

Experience in Healthcare domain
