We are seeking a Software Development Engineer in Test (SDET) to join our dynamic team in India. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and executing automated tests to ensure high-quality software delivery. This role requires a solid understanding of both development and testing processes.
Responsibilities
- Design and develop automated test scripts using industry-standard testing frameworks.
- Execute automated test cases and analyze the results to ensure software quality.
- Collaborate with development teams to understand application features and provide feedback on software functionality.
- Participate in requirement analysis and design reviews to ensure testability of requirements.
- Maintain and enhance the existing automation framework and test suites.
- Identify, record, and track bugs using issue tracking tools.
- Contribute to continuous improvement of testing processes and methodologies.
Skills and Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Java, C#, or Python.
- Experience with automated testing tools such as Selenium, TestNG, JUnit, or similar frameworks.
- Understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC) and software testing methodologies.
- Familiarity with version control systems such as Git.
- Knowledge of CI/CD tools and practices.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Good communication and teamwork abilities.
