We are seeking an experienced Senior Business Operations Analyst to join our dynamic Product Engineering Group. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in optimizing operational efficiency, driving strategic initiatives, and facilitating the success of our engineering projects.
Responsibilities:
Purchase Order Lifecycle:
- Own end to end processing of Product & Engineering purchase order life cycle from inception to reconciliation
- Complete vendor reconciliations to ensure business continuity
- Reconcile monthly purchase reporting
- Support internal FinOps team with invoice allocation and reporting
Operational Analysis:
- Develop and maintain financial budget reporting as required
- Analyze and assess business operations within the Product Engineering Group to identify financial areas for improvement and efficiency gains, including but not limited to savings related to optimization or consolidation
- Develop actionable insights and recommendations based on data-driven analysis
Cross-functional Collaboration:
- Work closely with cross-functional teams including Engineering, Product Management, and Finance to align operational strategies with business goals.
- Facilitate communication and collaboration across departments.
Process Optimization:
- Implement best practices and continuous improvement initiatives within business operations
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, finance, or related field. Master's degree preferred.
- Proven experience in business operations analysis within a product engineering or technology-driven environment.
- Strong analytical skills with proficiency in data analysis tools and techniques.
- Experience with FinOps Foundation practices a plus.
- Exceptional communication and presentation skills.
- Strategic thinker with the ability to translate insights into actionable plans.
- Proven ability to thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
