Position Overview

We are seeking a dynamic Associate Director - Business Development to drive growth in workplace

fitouts and general contracting services. This role requires a seasoned professional with deep industry

knowledge, strong client relationships, and proven track record in B2B sales within the interior

construction sector.

Key Responsibilities

Business Development & Sales

  • Drive revenue growth through strategic business development in workplace fitouts and general
  • contracting
  • Develop and maintain relationships with PMCs, corporate procurement teams, and project

stakeholders

  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities in corporate, hospitality, healthcare, and housing

sectors

  • Lead the entire sales process from lead generation to proposal submission and client closure

Client Relationship Management

  • Build and nurture long-term relationships with key decision makers in target organizations
  • Understand client requirements and provide tailored solutions for interior fitout projects
  • Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and networking forums
  • Maintain regular engagement with existing clients for repeat business opportunities

Market Intelligence & Strategy

  • Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and industry developments
  • Provide market insights to support strategic planning and business decisions
  • Identify emerging sectors and opportunities for business expansion
  • Collaborate with design and execution teams to ensure service alignment with market needs

Process Management

  • Manage pre-qualification submissions, RFP responses, and tender processes
  • Coordinate with internal teams for technical and commercial proposal development
  • Ensure compliance with client requirements and company quality standards
  • Maintain accurate records of sales activities, pipeline, and forecasts

Required Qualifications

Experience

  • 4-7 years of experience in business development within interior contracting, D&B companies, or

IPCs

  • Proven track record in B2B sales with focus on workplace fitouts and general contracting
  • Experience in managing large-scale corporate interior projects
  • Strong understanding of the complete sales cycle from lead generation to project closure

Skills & Competencies

  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Strong negotiation and relationship building capabilities
  • Deep understanding of interior fitout industry, processes, and stakeholders
  • Proficiency in preparing technical and commercial proposals
  • Self-motivated with ability to work independently and drive results

Education

  • MBA, Architecture, Interior Design, or related field
  • Additional certifications in sales, project management, or business development preferred
