Position Overview
We are seeking a dynamic Associate Director - Business Development to drive growth in workplace
fitouts and general contracting services. This role requires a seasoned professional with deep industry
knowledge, strong client relationships, and proven track record in B2B sales within the interior
construction sector.
Key Responsibilities
Business Development & Sales
- Drive revenue growth through strategic business development in workplace fitouts and general
- contracting
- Develop and maintain relationships with PMCs, corporate procurement teams, and project
stakeholders
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities in corporate, hospitality, healthcare, and housing
sectors
- Lead the entire sales process from lead generation to proposal submission and client closure
Client Relationship Management
- Build and nurture long-term relationships with key decision makers in target organizations
- Understand client requirements and provide tailored solutions for interior fitout projects
- Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and networking forums
- Maintain regular engagement with existing clients for repeat business opportunities
Market Intelligence & Strategy
- Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and industry developments
- Provide market insights to support strategic planning and business decisions
- Identify emerging sectors and opportunities for business expansion
- Collaborate with design and execution teams to ensure service alignment with market needs
Process Management
- Manage pre-qualification submissions, RFP responses, and tender processes
- Coordinate with internal teams for technical and commercial proposal development
- Ensure compliance with client requirements and company quality standards
- Maintain accurate records of sales activities, pipeline, and forecasts
Required Qualifications
Experience
- 4-7 years of experience in business development within interior contracting, D&B companies, or
IPCs
- Proven track record in B2B sales with focus on workplace fitouts and general contracting
- Experience in managing large-scale corporate interior projects
- Strong understanding of the complete sales cycle from lead generation to project closure
Skills & Competencies
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Strong negotiation and relationship building capabilities
- Deep understanding of interior fitout industry, processes, and stakeholders
- Proficiency in preparing technical and commercial proposals
- Self-motivated with ability to work independently and drive results
Education
- MBA, Architecture, Interior Design, or related field
- Additional certifications in sales, project management, or business development preferred
