Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Sr. Backend Developer with expertise in Apigee APIs to join our dynamic team in India. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing and maintaining robust APIs that enhance our applications functionality and performance.

Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and maintain Apigee APIs to support various applications and services.
  • Collaborate with front-end developers and other team members to integrate user-facing elements with server-side logic.
  • Optimize APIs for performance, scalability, and security.
  • Troubleshoot and debug issues related to API functionality and performance.
  • Document API specifications and provide support to developers and stakeholders regarding API usage.

Skills and Qualifications

  • 2-5 years of experience in backend development with a focus on API design and implementation.
  • Proficient in Apigee API management platform and its features.
  • Strong knowledge of programming languages such as Java, Python, or Node.js.
  • Experience with RESTful and SOAP web services.
  • Familiarity with API security protocols and authentication mechanisms like OAuth, JWT.
  • Understanding of database technologies such as MySQL, PostgreSQL, or MongoDB.
  • Experience with version control systems, particularly Git.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work in a collaborative team environment.
