Summary of Position:
We are seeking a highly skilled
Automation Test Engineer with extensive hands-on experience in
Playwright with Typescript and
Tricentis Tosca to join our QA team. The ideal candidate will have
6–8 years of experience in automation testing, a deep understanding of
QA best practices. This role involves designing, implementing, and maintaining robust automated test frameworks to ensure the highest quality of our applications and data validation processes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain end-to-end UI automation frameworks using Playwright with TypeScript.
- Implement Playwright test automation scripts for web and mobile browser applications.
- Create scalable and reusable automation solutions following best practices such as Page Object Model (POM) and modular test design.
- Integrate Playwright automation suites with CI/CD pipelines.
- Develop, execute, and maintain automation test scripts using Tricentis Tosca for functional, regression, and integration testing.
- Optimize and maintain test automation frameworks, ensuring scalability, reusability, and stability.
- Apply QA best practices throughout the SDLC, including test planning, defect management, and reporting.
- Perform risk-based testing and ensure compliance with organizational quality standards.
- Troubleshoot and resolve automation issues, ensuring timely delivery of test results.
Key Requirements/Minimum Qualifications:
- 6 to 8 years of overall hands-on automation experience, with strong expertise in Playwright using TypeScript and working experience in Tricentis Tosca with basic knowledge in Tosca DI.
- Excellent proficiency in TypeScript/JavaScript, async programming, and modern web testing concepts.
- Proven experience in building, maintaining, and enhancing code-based UI automation frameworks from scratch, with a deep understanding of UI automation best practices including selectors, waits, reporting, debugging, and test stability.
- Experience in integrating Playwright automation tests into CI/CD pipelines for continuous testing and quality validation.
- Experience with Tosca-based API testing, test case design, and execution management.
- Ability to work effectively in a hybrid automation environment, combining code-based (Playwright) and low-code (Tosca) automation approaches.
Work hours: 11 AM to 8 PM IST
