Job Description

Specific Responsibilities

  • Responsible for system configuration and support activities on the following systems: workflow systems, specification management system, experiment management system, manufacturing execution system, process control systems, statistical process control system, our production planning system, and NPI flow support.
  • Interact with engineering and technical support teams responsible for configuration, operation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of the manufacturing system in support of the 24x7 manufacturing operation.
  • Configure factory systems items such as (but not limited to), factory manufacturing equipment, work areas, wafer banks, recipes, technologies, products, process definitions, steps, module definitions, main routes, engineering experiments, reticles, carriers, pods, and manufacturing codes.
  • Complete setup requirements and implementation plans that optimize the quality, performance, and customer-delivery metrics of Fab 1.
  • Follow leading-edge global factory systems configuration business processes and functions.
  • Build relationships with internal partners including Operations, Factory Information Control Systems, Process Integration, Flow Team, and Supply Chain organizations.
  • Support Service Level Agreements (SLA's) with Operations and Process Integration and with other Manufacturing Services organizations.
  • Support 24x7 factory systems setup. This may include 12 hour shifts and nights. On-call support may be required.
  • Perform all activities in safe and responsible manner and support all Environmental, Health, Safety & Security requirements, and programs.

Required Qualifications

  • B.Sc/BCA/Diploma in information technology, Computer Science, Math, Engineering, Semiconductor Manufacturing or a related discipline
  • Fluent in English Language written & verbal
  • Good knowledge of Microsoft Office and standard software applications
  • Logical thinking skills
  • Knowledge of Fab1 software applications is an advantage
  • Good teamwork and communication skills
  • Reliability and precise working methods
  • Willingness and suitability for shift work
