Job Description

Job Title: Senior Architect

Department: Design and Development

Location: Akurdi, Pune

Reports To: HOD

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Senior Architect to lead the design, planning, and execution of real estate projects. The role involves managing architectural design, coordinating with consultants, ensuring compliance with local regulations, and delivering projects aligned with business goals and timelines.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead concept, schematic, and detailed design for residential and commercial projects
  • Coordinate with structural, MEP, and landscape consultants
  • Ensure compliance with local building bye-laws, NBC, and authority approvals
  • Review and approve working, GFC, and shop drawings
  • Monitor site execution to ensure design intent is maintained
  • Optimize space planning, efficiency, and saleable area
  • Manage project timelines, deliverables, and design milestones
  • Collaborate with marketing and sales teams for project positioning
  • Conduct design reviews and value engineering
  • Mentor junior architects and drafting teams
  • Handle client and management presentations and approvals

Key Skills Required:

  • Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, and MS Office
  • Strong understanding of real estate development norms and approvals
  • Excellent design and technical detailing skills
  • Knowledge of construction methods and materials
  • Strong coordination and communication abilities
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Architecture
  • Registration with Council of Architecture (preferred)

Preferred Experience:

  • 5– 6 years of experience in real estate / construction industry
  • Experience with real estate developers or builders
  • Exposure to high-rise residential, township, or mixed-use projects
  • Strong experience in authority approvals and sanction drawings

Key Deliverables:

  • Concept to execution drawings
  • Authority submission and approval drawings
  • Design coordination reports
  • Site inspection and review reports

Qualifications

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Architecture (B.Arch / M.Arch)
  • Registered with Council of Architecture (COA)
  • 5–6 years of relevant experience in architectural design and execution
  • Strong knowledge of building bye-laws, NBC, and approval processes
  • Proficiency in design software such as AutoCAD, Revit, and SketchUp
  • Experience in handling residential, commercial, or mixed-use projects
  • Good understanding of construction methods, materials, and detailing
  • Strong project management, coordination, and communication skills

Optional / Preferred:

  • Experience with real estate developers/builders
  • Exposure to high-rise or township projects
  • Experience in authority approvals and sanction drawings
  • Advanced knowledge of sustainable design practices
