AWS Sales, Marketing, and Global Services (SMGS) is responsible for driving revenue, adoption, and growth from the largest and fastest growing small- and mid-market accounts to enterprise-level customers including public sector.
Are you an experienced Cloud architect/developer who can assist our customers in Application modernization, Design and development of cloud native applications and/or re-engineering applications that can fully leverage the AWS Cloud Do you like to work on a variety of game changing projects, at the forefront of application development and cloud technology adoption This role is open for Delhi/NCR.
As an architect you would champion applications to be cloud optimized by making them well-architected ,enabling them to reap the benefits of elasticity, horizontal scalability, automation and high availability. You should have a knack of GenAI tooling to driving application modernization at scale with GenAI tools.
On the AWS platform services such as Amazon EC2, Auto Scaling, Elastic Load Balancing, AWS Elastic Beanstalk, Amazon Elastic Container Services to name just a few, provide opportunities to design and build cloud ready applications.

Key job responsibilities
We are looking for hands on Mig and Mod (MM) Architects with:
. Strong Consulting, client-facing (CXO) level communication driving cloud solutioning and leading technical workshops
. Ability to translate technical concepts for business stakeholders into implementable solution adhering to well architected framework.
. Problem-solving and analytical thinking driving envisioning , presales and be a thought leader in the domain driving Application discovery , Risk mitigation strategies, Performance testing and validation, Migration and Post-migration optimization
. Deep expertise in large scale cloud migrations, and AWS infrastructure to drive complex cloud transformation journey from Onprem successfully modernizing them to help realize true value from cloud
. Deep expertise in VMware technologies having worked on vSphere administration, vCenter management, NSX networking, vSAN storage, HCX for migrations, VMware Cloud on AWS
. Ability to drive Migration discovery to Mobilize to lead and drive Migration and Modernization end to end.
. Strong experience on Cloud Infra, network, Security and cloud resiliency (DR)
. Ability to modernize application and get them out of legacy framework to realize true potential of cloud
. Hand-on experience in designing and developing web applications, APIs, microservices, and data integrations for cloud native applications
. Knowledge of cloud-native design patterns, including microservices architecture and event-driven systems.
. Demonstrated experience building scalable and highly available applications on AWS, leveraging services such as Lambda, ECS, API Gateway, DynamoDB, S3, etc.
. Preferred experience in optimizing cloud-based architectures for scalability, security, and high performance.
. Experience working in Agile development environments, with a strong focus on iterative delivery and continuous improvement.
. Ability to advise on and implement AWS best practices across application development, deployment, and monitoring
Additional Desired Skills:
. Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, CloudFormation)
. Scripting (Python, PowerShell)
. CI/CD pipelines
. Container technologies
. Database migrations
. Knowledge of compliance frameworks
. Multi-cloud experience

- Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, mathematics or equivalent
- 10+ years of external or internal customer facing, complex and large scale project management experience
- Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent, or experience with Cloud platforms (preferably AWS), database systems (SQL and NoSQL), AI tools for development productivity, contributing to open-source projects, and/or version control systems
- Can use AI for legal research, contract analysis, or document review
- Master's degree in engineering, technology, computer science, machine learning, robotics, operations research, statistics, mathematics or equivalent quantitative field, or PhD and 9+ years of building machine learning models or developing algorithms for business application experience
