About the Team

The DCO Swat analysis team provides data driven recommendation to improve the customer experience and reducing user friction points and thereby improving the customer funnel progression.

I. Job Summary:

  • Understand online and e-commerce business at a category level, onsite behavior, Marketing channels, product preferences, qualitative feedback, etc.; Build on the fly dashboards & apply advanced analytics methods to draw insights, and then translate them into business recommendations.
  • Collect, verify, analyze and summarize data using a variety of digital analytics tools and platforms to derive compelling insights and highlight performance trends that can be used to improve user experience.
  • Assist with quantitative and qualitative research to support digital initiatives such as content development, Category page redesign product development, and new business initiatives.
  • Maintain and distribute daily, weekly and event reports.
  • Do market study and provide competitive intelligence to understand best industry practices with the focus of enhancing digital customer experience (e.g. Hierarchy and attribution)
  • Responsible for hands-on working at various nodes of data-driven consulting process: right from pulling and aggregating data from various sources, churning insights and recommendations for the category short term and long-term strategy with stakeholders.
  • Utilize programmatic and quantitative methods to identify patterns and relationships in large data sets, as well as apply mathematical, statistical, and other data-driven analysis to address intelligence questions.
  • Understanding of Programming experience in (Python/R); Practical knowledge of data in various forms (data warehouses/SQL, unstructured data environments/HIVE, Impala); Familiarity with BI reporting tools.

IV. Education Qualification & Certifications (optional)

Required Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in business, Engineering, Statistics, Economics or any other Quantitative discipline with 8+ years experience in analytical role
  • 4-6 years experience in online retail and merchandising analytics working directly with business teams.
  • Experience working with analytical tools like Python, SQL, Adobe Analytics, Google Analytics
  • Experience with Microsoft Office tools (e.g., Word, PowerPoint, Excel)

V. Skill Set Required

Primary Skills (must have)

  • Gathering & Compiling of Data in a cohesive manner in adobe- Intermediate
  • Excel - Intermediate
  • SQL- Intermediate
  • Any visualization tool ((Preferably Power BI)- Intermediate
  • Problem solving and presentation skill - Intermediate.
  • Data Analysis and insight generation - Intermediate
  • Ecommerce / Digital Analytics - Intermediate

Secondary Skills (desired)

  • Retail Domain knowledge
  • Experience working in cross functional areas
