About the Role
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Sr Accountant Specialist to join our Finance team in Kochi. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing day-to-day accounting operations, ensuring accuracy across accounts, and maintaining financial integrity for multiple entities within the organization. This is a Work From Office (WFO) position.
Key Responsibilities
- Enter all Accounts Receivable (AR), Accounts Payable (AP), General Ledger (GL), and Payroll transactions into the Striven Accounting System.
- Process all payments and collections for AR & AP accurately and on time.
- Reconcile and close accounting entries for each reporting period.
- Perform expense audits and reconciliations across multiple entities.
- Ensure compliance with accounting standards and internal controls.
- Communicate effectively with vendors, clients, and internal management to resolve discrepancies and maintain smooth financial operations.
- Support monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting activities as needed.
Qualifications & Skills
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or Commerce (Master's or professional certification preferred).
- 4+ years of experience in accounting or finance roles.
- Hands-on experience with Striven or other ERP/accounting systems.
- Strong understanding of AR/AP, GL, payroll accounting, and reconciliations.
- Excellent attention to detail, organizational, and analytical skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Proficiency in MS Excel and general financial reporting tools.
Work Conditions
Location: Kochi (on-site, Work From Office)
Schedule: Full-time, 5pm to 2am IST
