We are looking for a SQL Server DBA. As a SQL Server DBA (or Database Administrator), we want a candidate who can manage SQL Server databases and master in writing SQL queries. Also, be proficient in designing tables, storing procedures, views and functions, and documenting functionality.
Responsibilities
- Install and configure SQL Server
- Documenting and maintaining software functionality
- Analyze, solve, and correct issues in real time
- Assist developers with query tuning and schema refinement
- Think logically when solving complex business challenges
- Interface and communicate with customers
- Integrating software components into fully functional software systems
- Provide suggestions for solutions
- Advise the customer on best practices
- Implement best practices on Microsoft SQL Server Databases and Servers
- Participate in migrations for customers
- Continue to learn new skills involved in being a SQL Server DBA as the technology evolves
- Keep up to date with new releases of Microsoft SQL Server.
- Implement and upgrade database management system as business needs demand
- Perform ongoing support on database issues and ticket management
Key Responsibilities:
Customer Interaction: Interact with customers via phone, email, and chat to address inquiries, resolve issues, and provide assistance.
Issue Resolution: Troubleshoot and resolve customer problems with a focus on first-contact resolution. Escalate complex issues to the appropriate department.
Product Knowledge: Develop a strong understanding of our products/services to address customer queries effectively and provide accurate information.
Documentation: Maintain detailed and accurate records of customer interactions, transactions, and resolutions.
Customer Feedback: Gather customer feedback and insights to contribute to continuous improvement in our products and services
