Role- SQL Server Database Administration
Job Description
Experience in working on various MS SQL Database versions 2016,2017, 2019, 2022
Experience in applying SQL Server service packs and database upgrades on same server and new server.
Experience in Database performance tuning and troubleshooting users and application related issues
Exposure on database monitoring tools like SCOM, Rubrik, Redgate and others
Experience in continuous process improvement and automation using YAML and PowerShell
Experience in HA solutions like Always ON setup and maintenance, Log shipping, Database mirroring and replication
Experience in SQL Server cluster
Experience in Upgrade, Patching and migration to On Prem and Cloud
Experience in Azure Arc Managed Instance SQL Server
Experience on cloud like Azure will be preferred
Experience in Database security and encryption setup using TDE and masking
Manage database backup and recovery, as well as disaster recovery planning
Create, change, and improve SQL Server Agent tasks and maintenance plans.
Proactively monitor SQL Server maintenance tasks, troubleshoot failed processes, and address issues as soon as possible.
