Job Title: SQL Server Data Engineer Salesforce Conversion (Oracle Fusion Source)

Role Summary:
Atom is looking for a hands-on SQL Server Data Engineer in our offshore team to lead
and execute the data conversion from Oracle Fusion to Salesforce. You will work closely with onsite
architects and functional teams to design, build, and optimize SQL Serverbased staging and
transformation processes and ensure accurate, complete, and timely migration of data into
Salesforce.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and build SQL Serverbased ETL processes (T-SQL, stored procedures,
- SQL jobs) for migrating data from Oracle Fusion into Salesforce. - Create and maintain staging
- tables, mappings, and transformation logic to align Oracle Fusion data structures with Salesforce
- objects.
- Analyze Oracle Fusion data model (customers, accounts, contacts, opportunities,
- transactions, etc.) and map it to Salesforce standard and custom objects. - Develop robust data
- validation and reconciliation scripts/reports to ensure completeness and accuracy pre- and postload.
- Optimize SQL queries and jobs for performance and scalability on large data volumes in SQL
- Server.
- Collaborate closely with onsite Salesforce functional/technical teams to align on object
- model, required fields, and data constraints. - Work with Oracle Fusion functional/technical teams to understand source data, business rules, and data quality issues. - Troubleshoot and resolve dataload issues, referential integrity problems, and performance bottlenecks during mock cycles andcutover.
- Prepare and maintain technical documentation (mapping documents, conversion design, runbooks, data dictionaries). - Support mock runs, dry-runs, and final cutover during Salesforce golive, including extended hours overlap with US time zones where required.
Required Skills & Experience
- 5+ years of hands-on experience with Microsoft SQL Server in a data
- engineering / ETL / data conversion role.
- Proven expertise in T-SQL, including complex joins, window functions, stored procedures, views, functions, and SQL Server Agent jobs.
- Experience delivering end-to-end data migration or data conversion projects as a primary SQL resource.
- Strong working knowledge of Salesforce data model (Accounts, Contacts, Opportunities,
- Cases, Activities, and custom objects).
- Experience loading data into Salesforce using tools such
- as Salesforce Data Loader, SSIS, or other ETL tools.
- Practical exposure to Oracle Fusion (Cloud) / Oracle ERP as a data source understanding of key master and transaction data entities.
- Strong skills in data profiling, data cleansing, and data quality checks.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced project environment with offshoreonsite collaboration.
- Excellent communication skills in English
Nice to Have
- Experience with integration platforms (OIC, Mulesoft, Boomi, Informatica, etc.) for
- Salesforce integrations.
- Prior involvement in end-to-end Salesforce implementations or large-scale CRM migrations.
- Familiarity with SOQL, Apex basics, and Salesforce REST/SOAP APIs (for understanding and troubleshooting).
- Experience working in cloud environments (Azure / AWS) hosting
- SQL Server workloads.
Education
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or equivalent
