Key Responsibilities
We are seeking an experienced SQL Lead to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in SQL development, optimization, and team leadership. This role involves designing, developing, and maintaining SQL database objects, writing complex queries, debugging stored procedures, and leading a team of 4-5 members. The candidate should be open to working in shifts and providing support during late evenings or weekends as needed.
- SQL Development: Demonstrate working knowledge of SQL server development to design and implement efficient database solutions.
- Complex Query Writing: Write and optimize complex SQL queries to ensure high performance and scalability.
- Debugging & Analysis: Debug and analyze existing SQL stored procedures to identify and resolve performance issues.
- SSIS Package Development: Develop and maintain SSIS packages for data integration and ETL processes.
- Collaboration: Engage with application teams to provide technical solutions and support for database-related issues.
- Team Leadership: Lead and guide a team of 4-5 members in database development, maintenance, and support activities.
- Shift Work: Be open to working in shifts and providing support during late evenings or weekends as required.
Must to have:
- Working experience on Microsoft SQL Server 2016 and above.
- Experience in Microsft SSIS package.
- Experience in designing and managing data warehouses.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in SQL development and optimization.
- Strong skills in writing complex and optimized SQL queries.
- Experience in debugging and analyzing SQL stored procedures.
- Proficiency in developing and maintaining SSIS packages.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work with application teams.
- Leadership experience with the ability to manage and mentor a team of 4-5 members.
- Flexibility to work in shifts and provide support during non-standard hours.
Preferred Skills:
- Knowledge of database design principles and best practices.
- Experience with performance tuning and optimization techniques.
- Familiarity with other ETL tools and technologies.
