SQL Developer

Job Summary

We are looking for a skilled SQL Developer to design, develop, and maintain database queries, reports, and data solutions. The ideal candidate will work closely with application, reporting, and business teams to ensure accurate, high-performance data retrieval and processing.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, write, and optimize SQL queries, views, and stored procedures
• Develop and maintain database objects such as tables, indexes, functions, and triggers
• Ensure data accuracy, integrity, and performance
• Tune and optimize SQL queries for high-volume and complex datasets
• Work with developers and business teams to convert requirements into data solutions
• Support reporting, dashboards, and analytics
• Troubleshoot and resolve data and performance issues
• Participate in database migrations and upgrades
• Follow best practices for security, backup, and recovery

Required Skills

• Strong hands-on experience with SQL (Oracle / SQL Server / MySQL / PostgreSQL)
• Expertise in:
• SELECT, JOIN, SUBQUERIES
• GROUP BY, HAVING
• WINDOW FUNCTIONS
• Experience with stored procedures, functions, triggers
• Strong understanding of indexes, query execution plans, and performance tuning
• Experience in ETL or data integration is a plus
• Good understanding of data modeling and normalization
• Ability to work with large datasets

Nice to Have

• Experience with BI tools (Power BI, Tableau, etc.)
• Knowledge of Python or Shell scripting
• Exposure to cloud databases (AWS RDS, Azure SQL, GCP BigQuery)

Experience & Education

• 3+ years of experience as an SQL Developer / Database Developer
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field (preferred)
