Role Description

Inficore Soft is seeking a detail-oriented SQL Developer Intern to help manage and streamline our data infrastructure. In this role, you will work closely with our engineering and data teams to write high-performance queries, maintain database schemas, and ensure data accessibility. This is a fantastic opportunity to sharpen your backend skills and understand the mechanics of data-driven applications.

Primary Responsibilities

Query Optimization: Write, debug, and optimize complex SQL queries to support application features and business reporting.

Database Design: Assist in designing and maintaining relational database schemas, ensuring proper normalization and indexing.

Data Migration: Help with data extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL) processes between different environments.

Data Integrity: Perform regular data quality checks to identify inconsistencies and ensure a single source of truth.

Collaboration: Work with backend developers to integrate database logic with application APIs.

Requirements

Education: Currently pursuing or a recent graduate of a degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Data Engineering, or a related field.

Core Skills: Strong proficiency in SQL (MySQL, PostgreSQL, or MS SQL Server).

Technical Concepts: Solid understanding of Joins, Subqueries, Stored Procedures, and Database Normalization.

Problem Solving: Ability to translate complex business requirements into efficient technical queries.

Tools: Basic familiarity with database management tools (like pgAdmin, MySQL Workbench, or DBeaver).
