Role Overview:

We are looking for a SQL Developer Intern who is interested in working with databases, data structures, and query optimization. This role provides hands-on exposure to managing and analyzing structured data in real-world scenarios.

Key Responsibilities:

* Develop and refine SQL queries for data retrieval and reporting

* Support database maintenance, updates, and performance checks

* Work on data validation and consistency across datasets

* Assist in creating views, stored procedures, and basic database structures

* Analyze query performance and suggest improvements

* Prepare datasets for reporting and analytics use

* Document database processes and query logic

Required Qualifications:

* Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field

* Strong understanding of SQL and relational database concepts

* Familiarity with database systems such as MySQL, PostgreSQL, or SQL Server

* Knowledge of joins, indexing, and normalization

* Basic understanding of query optimization

* Analytical thinking and attention to detail

* Ability to work independently in a remote setup

Preferred Skills:

* Exposure to database projects or coursework

* Familiarity with reporting tools or dashboards

* Basic understanding of ETL concepts
