The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating, installing and managing our databases. You will ensure optimal database performance by analyzing database issues and monitoring database performance.
Responsibilities
- Installation of SQL Server on cluster environment
- Complete knowledge of Backup and recovery
- Should have knowledge of Database Security policies
- Should have knowledge of high availability (Cluster, Mirroring, logshipping, always on)
- Performance monitoring and tuning
- Should have good knowledge of issues and trouble shooting.
- Manage SQL Server databases through multiple product lifecycle environments, from development to mission-critical production systems.
- Configure and maintain database servers and processes, including monitoring of system health and performance, to ensure high levels of performance, availability, and security.
- Refine and automate regular processes, track issues, and document changes
- Assist developers with complex query tuning and schema refinement.
- Provide 24x7 support for critical production systems.
- Perform scheduled maintenance and support release deployment activities after hours.
- Experience working with Windows server, including Active Directory
- Excellent written and verbal communication
- Ability to organize and plan work independently
- Ability to work in a rapidly changing environment
- Ability to multi-task and context-switch effectively between different activities and teams
- Basic Knowledge of Cloud Technologies like Azure,AWS & GCP
- Taking Backup for Databases on Azure Blob Storages from Local Servers
- Ability to decode Execution Plans for MSSQL Server
- Hands-On Knowledge on SQL 2019,2022 New Features
- Database Consolidation, Migrations & Licensing Knowledge for MSSQL
- Should have worked and experience with AzureSQL / Basic Knowledge about Migration Onpremise to Azure

Experience
- Must have 8+ years relevant experience in the field of database Administration.
