Job Title:Database Administrator (DBA)

Requirements & Responsibilities:
- Minimum 3 years of experience as a DBA or in a related role.
- Proficient in database technologies with a specific understanding of RDBMS like PostgreSQL, MySQL, and NoSQL data stores such as HBase, MongoDB, etc.
- Install, configure, and maintain the performance of database servers both relational and non-relational.
- Develop and implement processes for optimizing database security and integrity.
- Set and enforce database standards, policies, and procedures.
- Manage database access and permissions.
- Perform regular database backups and ensure data restoration strategies are in place.
- Monitor and tune database performance for high availability and efficiency.
- Install, upgrade, and manage database tools and applications.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot database issues and performance bottlenecks.
- Research, recommend, and implement emerging database technologies.
- Create and maintain database reports, dashboards, and visualizations.
- Automate recurring database tasks to improve operational efficiency.
- Strong command of SQL and familiarity with SQL Server tools.
- Advanced knowledge of database security, backup and recovery techniques, and performance monitoring standards.
- Sound understanding of relational and dimensional data modeling.
- Proficient in PowerShell and Unix Shell scripting.
- Impeccable attention to detail.
Qualification:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (B.E. / B.Tech / MCA)
