Required Skills And Qualifications
- Proven experience as a SQL Server DBA (SQL Server 2012/2016/2019/2022).
- Strong proficiency in T-SQL and SQL Server Management Studio (SSMS).
- Experience with backup, restore, and recovery models.
- Knowledge of High Availability (HA) and Disaster Recovery (DR) options for SQL Server.
- Experience with monitoring tools like SQL Profiler, Extended Events, and third-party solutions (e. SolarWinds, Redgate).
- Familiarity with performance tuning and optimization (PTO).
- Experience working with Azure SQL Database, SQL Managed Instance, or AWS RDS is a plus.
- Ability to handle multiple projects and priorities.
- Strong communication and documentation skills.
Preferred Qualifications :
- Microsoft Certified : Azure Database Administrator Associate or similar certification.
- Experience with SSIS, SSRS, and SSAS.
- Knowledge of DevOps processes and CI/CD pipelines for database code deployment.
- Exposure to cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, GCP).
