We are hiring: Sponsorship Sales Specialist | Mumbai | Full-Time, On-Site

Not many people have succeeded in this seat. Here's why. We'd rather sell nothing to no one than sell something that doesn't add value. That line doesn't move. What we sell is a high-intelligence product — a solution, not a physical object you hand over. The only way to win is to be obsessed with what the customer actually gets out of it. So if your background is purely transactional — moving product on price and volume — this probably isn't for you. We need a genuinely sharp, consultative seller. Only very intelligent salespeople should apply.

We're also in the business of integrity, and that shows up in how you carry yourself. This role demands someone who turns up polished and takes the standard seriously, every day. If you're casual about how you show up and follow through, you'll be a cultural misfit here.

What the role actually is

You'll own the full sales cycle — from lead generation to close — securing partners for our forums, award galas, reports, and research events. You build your own pipeline and you close through value, not pressure.

What you'll do:

• Identify and pursue new sponsorship opportunities

• Build and manage your own portfolio of clients

• Develop tailored sponsorship proposals

• Negotiate deals and consistently meet targets

• Work with our marketing and events teams to deliver exceptional value to sponsors

What you bring:

• Proven experience selling solutions, not commodities

• A real obsession with customer delivery and outcomes

• Strong communication and confidence with senior stakeholders

• A track record of generating leads and building a client base

• Sharp instincts and the ability to close through value

• Energy for a fast-paced, goal-driven team

• Knowledge of media, events, or related industries (a plus)

• Bachelor's in Business, Marketing, or a related field (preferred)
