Splunk Administrator

Role & Responsibilities

• Administer, maintain, and optimize the Splunk ITSI environment, including configuration, tuning, and system upgrades.
• Develop and implement ITSI service models, KPIs, and glass tables to monitor the health and performance of key IT services.
• Migrate existing dashboards and alerting capabilities from Enterprise Splunk to ITSI.
• Collaborate with IT teams to design dashboards, alerts, and reports that provide real-time insights into service performance and availability.
• Enable auto-ticketing into Helix or other ticketing platforms using NEAP or similar integrations.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to Splunk ITSI and associated integrations.
• Implement best practices for data ingestion, indexing, and storage to ensure optimal system performance.
• Monitor system performance, capacity, and security, taking proactive measures to prevent issues.
• Provide training and support to end-users to maximize the effective use of Splunk ITSI.
• Stay current with the latest Splunk features and best practices, recommending improvements to the Splunk environment.
