Speech Language Pathologist- Rehabilitation

We are looking for a dedicated and skilled Speech and Language Pathologist to join our multidisciplinary team at a new rehabilitation facility in Bengaluru. The ideal candidate will be proficient in diagnosing and treating disorders of communication and swallowing contributing to comprehensive patient recovery.

Key responsibilities include:

- Identifying, defining, and diagnosing disorders of human communication and swallowing (dysphagia) while assisting in the localization and diagnosis of diseases and conditions.

- Providing direct services to treat and/or address communication and swallowing issues.

- Educating and providing in-service training to families, caregivers, and other professionals.

- Participating in outcome measurement activities and using data to guide clinical decision-making and determine the effectiveness of services provided in accordance with the principles of evidence-based practice.

- Promoting healthy lifestyle practices for the prevention of communication, hearing, and swallowing disorders.

- Collaborating with other health care professionals, often working as part of a multidisciplinary team.

Qualifications & Experience

Bachelor's or master's degree in speech and language pathology

Valid registration with the relevant Council/RCI

3-5 years clinical experience, preferably in Neuro-rehabilitation care.

Experience managing conditions such as stroke, Parkinson's disease, dementia, patients with tracheostomy
