Pragyan Child Development Centre, based in Bengaluru, India, is a multidisciplinary pediatric therapy center specializing in supporting children aged 0 to 18 years with developmental and intellectual disabilities. The center offers a range of services, including Speech and Language Therapy, Occupational Therapy, Behavioral Therapy, Physiotherapy, Special Education, Group Therapy, and Early Intervention Programs. Pragyan focuses on conditions such as Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), Down Syndrome, Cerebral Palsy, ADHD, Global Developmental Delay, and Sensory Processing Disorder, among others. It follows a structured four-stage approachscreening, assessment, diagnosis, and interventionto develop personalized care plans tailored to each child's needs and ensure optimal developmental outcomes.

Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Speech Language Pathologist at Pragyan Child Development Centre, located in Bengaluru. The Speech Language Pathologist will assess, diagnose, and implement individualized therapy plans for children with speech and language disorders. Day-to-day responsibilities include conducting therapy sessions, improving speech, addressing communication and language disorders, assisting with feeding and swallowing difficulties (dysphagia), and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams. The role involves maintaining detailed documentation, progress tracking, and engaging with families to support treatment goals and ensure positive outcomes.

Qualifications

  • Expertise in Speech Therapy and addressing issues related to speech production
  • Proficiency in identifying and treating Communication Disorders and Language Disorders
  • Knowledge and experience in evaluating and managing Dysphagia
  • Strong grasp of developmental milestones and evidence-based practices in pediatric therapy
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to engage with children and families effectively
  • Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology or a related field, along with relevant licensing and certifications
  • Prior experience working with pediatric clients or in a similar setting is highly desirable
