Role Overview
We are seeking a
qualified and empathetic Speech Therapist (ST) to join our Developmental Therapies team. The ideal candidate will be passionate about helping children overcome communication, language, and feeding challenges through evidence-based interventions and family-centered care.
You will work closely with parents, caregivers, and a multidisciplinary teamincluding occupational therapists, pediatricians and psychologiststo create tailored therapy plans that foster meaningful progress.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive assessments of communication, language, speech, and feeding abilities
- Design and implement individualized therapy plans based on the child's developmental profile and needs
- Address a wide range of concerns including:
- Speech and language delays
- Articulation and phonological disorders
- Fluency (stuttering) issues
- Pragmatic and social communication difficulties
- Feeding and swallowing challenges
- Collaborate with parents and caregivers to promote skill generalization at home
- Maintain accurate session notes, progress reports, and treatment documentation
- Work closely with the multidisciplinary team to ensure integrated, holistic child care
- Participate in periodic case discussions, workshops, and parent education sessions

Requirements
Qualifications
Education:
- BASLP: Minimum 4 years of experience, or
- MASLP: 0-2 years of experience
- License/Certification: RCI Registration (preferred or in process)
Skills:
- Strong knowledge of child speech and language development
- Proficiency in therapy planning and documentation
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Empathy, patience, and a child-friendly approach
