Support Product Development Cycle of Inverters for HEV & EV by providing simulation-based design solutions for Effective Thermal Management of Power Electronics.
Perform thermal analysis of inverter using 3D & 1D CFD at sub-system level and system level
Method and Tool Development for thermal analysis of Inverter components and preparing standard analysis procedures by validating with the measurements (test correlations).
Close communication with Design and Testing teams for design optimization and calibrating the simulation models to improve the capability/trust level.
Automation and optimization of the simulation procedures wherever applicable to reduce turnaround time.
Your profile:
Master's Degree in Mechanical Engineering preferably with Fluids & Thermal specialization with 5-8 years of experience
Strong theoretical background in Fluid Mechanics and Heat Transfer
Experience in Automotive cooling with focus on powertrain components viz. Engine/Transmission/E-Drive
Expertise in CFD methods/processes
Expertise in one of the CFD tools viz. ANSYS Fluent/StarCCM+/Icepak/FloTHERM/FloEFD
Expertise in system simulation tools viz. Amesim/Simulink/Dymola
Experience in Power Electronics Thermal Management will be an advantage
