Job Description
As a Specialist - SAP ABAP, you will play a crucial role in designing, developing, and implementing SAP solutions for our clients. You will work closely with our cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality, scalable software solutions. Your expertise in SAP ABAP will be instrumental in driving our projects forward and ensuring successful outcomes.
Responsibilities
- Design and develop SAP ABAP solutions, ensuring alignment with client requirements and best practices.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including business analysts, developers, and project managers, to gather and translate business needs into technical specifications.
- Write efficient, well-structured, and maintainable ABAP code, adhering to coding standards and guidelines.
- Conduct unit testing and debugging to ensure the reliability and performance of developed solutions.
- Provide technical support and troubleshooting for SAP ABAP-related issues, both during development and post-implementation.
- Stay updated with the latest SAP technologies and trends, and propose innovative solutions to enhance our SAP landscape.
- Document and maintain technical documentation, ensuring knowledge transfer and easy maintenance of developed solutions.
- Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to ensure high-quality code and best practices.
- Assist in estimating the effort and resources required for SAP ABAP projects, and contribute to project planning and execution.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience in SAP ABAP development, with a strong understanding of ABAP programming concepts.
- Proficiency in ABAP Object-Oriented Programming (OOABAP) and SAP HANA is highly preferred.
- Experience with SAP S/4HANA and its core components is an advantage.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to analyze complex business requirements.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with a track record of working effectively in cross-functional teams.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously, with a focus on timely delivery.
- Familiarity with agile development methodologies and a willingness to adapt to changing project requirements.
- A proactive and innovative mindset, with a passion for staying updated with the latest SAP technologies.
- Willingness to travel for client engagements, as required.
