About The Department
- The Investment & Trade Client Services Reference Data Group ensures accurate, compliant reference data that enables smooth trade settlement and frontoffice readiness. The team partners closely with business, technology, brokers, custodians, and governance functions to deliver system enhancements, meet regulatory requirements, and resolve complex production issues. Joining this team offers exposure to enterprisewide initiatives, opportunities to lead change, and the chance to influence data quality, risk reduction, and operational efficiency.
How You Will Add Value
Project Participation
- You will partner with business teams and Fund, Transfer, Technology teams.
- You will advise projects using Reference Data expertise and governance standards.
- You will lead process improvement initiatives across the business.
- You will define requirements, testing, training, and implementation plans.
- You will manage testing, defect resolution, and final approvals.
- You will lead meetings and remove delivery blockers.
- You will communicate progress, risks, and mitigation plans.
Risk Mitigation, Innovation & Change Management
- You will design automated controls to reduce operational risk.
- You will improve data quality using modern tools and technologies.
- You will build workflows using Alteryx, Power BI, Access, and Structured Query Language.
- You will lead change impact analysis and readiness activities.
- You will perform root cause analysis and implement corrective actions.
- You will maintain accurate system and process documentation.
- You will lead business continuity and disaster recovery responses.
Production Support
- You will support new fund launches and complex account events.
- You will resolve escalated reference data and settlement issues.
- You will partner with brokers and custody banks to fix data issues.
- You will support audits and regulatory reviews.
- You will monitor industry, market, and regulatory developments.
- You will oversee custodian performance metrics.
What Will Help You Be Successful In This Role
Experience
- Strong knowledge of security types, accounts, and settlement reference data.
- Four to seven years of financial services or securities processing experience.
Education & Certifications
- Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or economics preferred.
Technical Skills
- Advanced Microsoft Excel and strong Office productivity skills.
- Working knowledge of internal reference data systems.
Soft Skills
- Clear, confident written and verbal communication.
- High attention to detail and risk awareness.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
Work Shift Timings - 6:30 PM - 3:30 AM IST
