We are seeking a seasoned
SAP Integration Specialist with deep expertise in
SAP Cloud Platform Integration (CPI),
SAP Integration Suite, SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP),
and Advanced Event Mesh. In this role, you'll design, develop, and maintain scalable integration solutions that bridge cloud and on-premise applications across global enterprise environments. You will also be instrumental in mentoring junior developers and driving best practices for integration design, security, and performance.
Key Responsibilities
- Architect and lead the design of scalable, secure, and high-performance integration solutions usingSAP BTP Integration Suite,CPI, andSolace PubSub+.
- Define integration strategies and roadmaps aligned with enterprise architecture and digital transformation goals.
- Lead the migration of legacy interfaces fromSAP PI/POtoSAP Integration Suite, ensuring minimal disruption and optimal performance.
- Govern and optimize the use ofSAP BTPservices includingAPI Management,Event Mesh,Open Connectors, andCPI-DS.
- Oversee the configuration and administration ofSolace messaging infrastructure, including advanced topic routing and durable subscriptions.
- Champion API-first design principles, ensuring robust, reusable, and secure APIs usingREST/SOAPstandards.
- Collaborate with enterprise architects, business stakeholders, and cross-functional teams to define integration requirements and governance models.
- Mentor and guide junior developers, conduct code reviews, and lead knowledge-sharing initiatives.
- Establish best practices for monitoring, logging, and troubleshooting using tools likeSAP Solution Manager,ElasticSearch, andSplunk.
- Drive continuous improvement through Agile methodologies, DevOps practices, and innovation initiatives.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
- 10+ years of experience Integration with 6+ years in SAP integration, includingSAP PI/PO,SAP CPI, andSAP BTP.
- Proven experience in leading large-scale integration projects across cloud and on-premise systems.
- Deep technical expertise inABAP,IDOCs,BAPI,RFC, andALE.
- Strong command ofSolace CLI,Solace APIs, andSolace Cloud Console.
- AI-augmented development experience
- Proficiency inJava,Groovy,Python, and integration-specific scripting.
- In-depth understanding ofsecurity protocols(OAuth, SAML, SSL) andAPI lifecycle management.
- Experience withSAP S/4HANA,SAP Fiori, and hybrid integration scenarios.
- Exposure to AI tools/technology would be nice to have.
Preferred Qualifications
- SAP certifications inIntegration Suite,BTP, orCloud Platform Integration.
- Good understanding of API Management tools like IBM API Connect, Apigee etc.
- Experience withDevOpstools (Git, Jenkins, Docker, Kubernetes) andCI/CD pipelines.
- Familiarity withevent-driven architectures,microservices, andcloud platforms(AWS, Azure, GCP).
- Exposure toSAP Open Connectors,Graph API, andCAPM.
- Strong background in Agile delivery and tools likeJIRAandConfluence.
